Lines and headloss
As two 1100 gallon per hour pumps seemed excessive, we opted to not pay attention to head losses in our design. The idea that the head losses would significantly limit our thrust was shoved in our face by the trickle through the solenoid valves we had planned to use. This example begs the question, in the current system, without the solenoid valves, what is the headloss? How much thrust is our boat generating? How far should it shoot?
